What Is Electroforming?

Electroforming is a process much older than what most people might think. It has been around since 1840.

Here is my simple explanation. Taking organic and inorganic items, painting with a graphite conductive substance and placing in an acid bath. Electric currents pull copper off the anode and places it on the piece. Similar to plating but longer process and thicker coating. Anywhere from 12 to 36 hours. Where mad scientist meets jewelry artist.

Due to this process each piece will be totally unique, one of a kind.
