Some of the wood on the root is exposed and preserved in resin.

I wish I could remember exactly where I found this root.  I just know I have had it for years.  Waiting for it to speak to me to tell me what it was to become.  Collected on a hike.  I was drawn to this little treasure for the texture and beauty.  Mother nature is amazing.  It reminds me of wise Seer, holding the wisdom of the ages, the Crone.
